Authority invites expressions of interest from providers of internal audit services

Thursday, 5th November, 2009: The Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies, requires the Authority, inter alia, “to have a properly constituted internal audit function or engage appropriate external expertise in this regard which should operate in accordance with the provisions set out [therein]”. Having regard to its scale, the Authority has decided to adopt the latter option in meeting the requirements of the Code.  In that context, the Authority is now inviting expressions of interest for the provision of such services over the period 2010-2012 from suitably qualified individuals/firms.
