Wednesday, 17th June, 2009: The next meeting of the European Enforcer Co-ordination Sessions (EECS) will be co-hosted by the Authority and the Financial Regulator in early July. The EECS’ membership comprises EU Member States’ financial reporting enforcement agencies. The role of the EECS, which operates under the auspices of the Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR), is to facilitate cooperation and coordination amongst Member States’ financial reporting enforcement authorities, thereby promoting the consistent enforcement of IFRS across the European Union.
