IAASA publishes Enquiry Committee Decision

IAASA has published the Decision of its Enquiry Committee 1/2018, which was established under the Authority’s Section 933 enquiry process.   The Enquiry was commenced on foot of a complaint made by the Health Service Executive regarding the audit of Positive Action Ltd, carried out by Cronin & Company, a member firm of CPA Ireland.  The Authority has, with the approval of the High Court, annulled the decision CPA Ireland’s Investigation Committee and directed the Institute to undertake a fresh investigation.
