Monday, 29th May 2006: The Authority has agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement (ODCE). The MoU sets out the parties’ agreement regarding the exchange of information to the extent that the disclosure and provision of such information is permitted by law. Any information disclosed by the ODCE to the Authority must be in accordance with the provisions of section 17 of the Company Law Enforcement Act, 2001. Similarly, any information disclosed by the Authority to the ODCE must be in accordance with the provisions of section 31 of the Companies (Auditing and Accounting) Act, 2003.
