Vacancies arising on the Technical Advisory Panel of the Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority

The Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates for appointment to a Technical Advisory Panel. 

The Panel will be chaired by the Irish member of the FRC’s Audit and Assurance Council  and consist of up to 4 further members, who may include both practitioners and non-practitioners.  

Expressions of interest are invited from candidates from diverse backgrounds with a detailed knowledge of auditing standards. The period of membership of the Panel proposed under this invitation is three years and members may be reappointed.  The individuals selected will be nominated to the Panel in a personal capacity and not as a representative of an organisation or body.

Panel members will be required to contribute to the work of IAASA  in the area of auditing standards and related guidance by contributing to the development of such standards and guidance, both directly and, when appropriate for particular projects, by establishing ad-hoc sub-groups involving individuals knowledgeable in area concerned.
