Detailed Directions to IAASA

The IAASA office is located in Millennium Park, Naas, Co Kildare. Millennium Park is adjacent to the M7 motorway, 20 km from Dublin’s M50 orbital motorway and an hour’s drive from the airport or city centre.

By Car

From Dublin city

The N7/M7 south (destination Cork, Limerick and Waterford) is well sign-posted at major junctions in the city centre. Take the N7 and travel for 20 km past the ‘Red Cow’ junction with the M50 motorway. Take the exit after passing the Johnstown Garden Centre, signposted Junction 9: R445 – North Naas, Sallins. Proceed through the following roundabouts:

1st roundabout (Johnstown): 2nd exit, signposted Naas;

2nd roundabout (‘The Big Ball’): 2nd (road) exit, signposted Sallins. You should pass ‘Woodies’ immediately on your right - do not follow signposts for Naas;

3rd roundabout (entrance to ‘Woodies’): 2nd exit, straight ahead;

4th roundabout (entrance to ‘Tesco’): 1st exit, straight ahead;

5th roundabout (entrance of Millennium Park): 2nd exit, straight ahead.

From Dublin Airport and the north

Exit the Airport, following signs for Dublin (M1). Keep left on joining the M1, and take the first exit on to the M50 (South). Please note that this is a barrier-free toll-road. The current toll is €3.00. Details on the operation of barrier-free tolling including payment facilities are available from www.eflow.ie.

Exit the M50 at the ‘Red Cow’, signposted Junction 9, N7/M7 south (destination Cork, Limerick and Waterford) and travel on for 20 km. Take the exit after passing the Johnstown Garden Centre, signposted Junction 9: R445 – North Naas, Sallins. Proceed through the following roundabouts:

  • 1st roundabout (Johnstown): 2nd exit, signposted Naas;
  • 2nd roundabout (‘The Big Ball’): 2nd (road) exit, signposted Sallins. You should pass ‘Woodies’ immediately on your right - do not follow signposts for Naas;
  • 3rd roundabout (entrance to ‘Woodies’): 2nd exit, straight ahead;
  • 4th roundabout (entrance to ‘Tesco’): 1st exit, straight ahead;
  • 5th roundabout (entrance of Millennium Park): 2nd exit, straight ahead.
  • Follow signposts for Sallins at all roundabouts – do not follow signposts for Naas

From the south

Take the N7/M7 towards Dublin. Exit the motorway at the second Naas exit, signposted Junction 9: R445 – Naas. Turn right at the roundabout at the end of the exit fly-over, signposted Sallins. You should pass ‘Woodies’ immediately on your right – do not follow signposts for Naas. Proceed straight through the following three roundabouts (entrance to ‘Woodies’, entrance to ‘Tesco’ and entrance of Millennium Park) into Millennium Park.

 

By Taxi

From Dublin city

National metering is in effect in Ireland. The taxi journey from the Airport/City Centre should cost approx. €80.00

 

By Train

Sallins village is serviced from Dublin city’s Heuston Station via the ‘Arrow’ service, with trains leaving every 45 minutes or so (see www.irishrail.ie). IAASA is 15 minutes’ walk from Sallins station. While there is no taxi-rank at Sallins, taxis are generally available from the station. A feeder bus service to Naas will also drop passengers at the Millennium Park entrance. Exit the station, and turn left towards Naas. At the first roundabout, turn right into Millennium Park.

 

On Entering the park

IAASA is located in Willow House. Take the first left turn, and proceed to the roundabout. Turn right (currently the second exit), and left into the car-park. Willow House is the building on the left, and IAASA is located on the second floor.
