The Financial Reporting Supervision Unit examines the compliance of certain entities’ periodic financial reporting with applicable accounting standards (principally IFRS and Irish GAAP) and relevant legislation.  The Unit is also responsible for liaising with other countries’ financial reporting and enforcement bodies and fora, including the European Enforcer Coordination Sessions.

Project Manager (closed)

IAASA's corporate services unit provides a broad range of administrative supports to IAASA, and a Secretariat to the Board and to certain of its Committees.  The following vacancies have arisen:

Clerical Officer (closed)

The clerical officer will assist the Corporate Service Team in the efficient delivery of the Authority’s administrative, ICT and HR support functions.  The role is part-time, normally worked mornings only.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team, a logical approach to task management, and a proficiency in the use of ICT.  While not essential, familiarity with public sector processes and procedures would be an advantage.  Further details of the post, and the application form, can be downloaded by clicking the  links below: 


Legal Services Manager (closed)

The Legal Services Manager works as part of the corporate services team, reporting to the head of that unit.  S/he will also act as the Authority's Data Protection Officer.  The role is part-time, equivalent to a three-day week.

The successful candidate will be qualified for admission to the Law Society of Ireland, the Honorable Society of King’s Inns or equivalent, and possess a minimum of two years post qualification experience.  In addition, experience as an in-house legal advisor and/or administrative and regulatory law will be an advantage.
