The Authority discharges its functions and exercises its powers through a company specifically designated for that purpose by the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism, and Employment. The Authority is governed by a Board of nine directors, including the Chief Executive. Under the Companies Act 2014, a maximum of four of these may be members of a prescribed accountancy body.
