IAASA seeks to fill a number of roles in its audit quality unit as its functions expand. Audit Inspectors inspect the quality of the audits of public interest entities as well as the internal quality control processes of the major audit firms. Additionally, they inspect the quality of work performed to support the assurance provided on sustainability reporting of public interest entities in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Inspectors will participate in inspections of the major audit firms dealing with senior staff and partners at those firms. More information on these exciting and evolving roles is available here
